Just let the needle hang and spin around, unwinding. This really helps me. I imagine thread painting could be used for other painting styles, this just happens to be as realistic as a photo. So both. Photorealistic thread painting.50 + hours seems lowball. We saw a perfect bit, undoing the 1mm misplaced stitch, ugh. I’m jealous of this focus and patience.
