Because when I say that, I mean EVERYONE has gotten stupider. I don’t feel any intense desire to see 100 years from now. VR sex robots are probably going to be really cool. I dunno, I feel like it’s connected stupid people so they can compound their stupidity and sucker people into said stupidity with a sense of community and belonging. What may seem like a dreaded existence to you isn’t to others who aren’t encumbered with the negative thoughts of being “just a fish”.This is exactly what I feel like. I’m so curious about what the world looks like in 100 years, 200 years, in 1000 years. Will humanity still be there? Will everything be all futuristic like those sci-fi movies? Are people still shitty at treating the environment? Is space travel a normal thing now? I could think of a million more questions I will sadly never get an Official Dimebag Darrell 1966 2004 Shirt. A few centuries from now a superintelligent AI is going to write a best selling history book about our current era and steal ‘Village of Village Idiots’ for the title. Not because I think it’s going to be a great place to live or visit or whatever, I just want to know what happens. One of the deepest frustrations I have is that I have no way of knowing what happens to everything after; it’s like a book you lose before you can finish the story, to me.
