While getting my hair cut, the guy walks in without a mask. The girl promptly informs him he has to have a mask. Guy walks back out. I work retail. Id say I’m asking 1 in 20 customers which is so much better than expected. however, I’ve been threatened with violence already from a few different dudes who pushed back against my request. Fun times. I work in Texas where we are currently having peak coronavirus cases and it’s crazy how little people care about social distancing. I would say about 1 in 20 customers don’t wear masks(I work at a restaurant, but still).So I work for a Funny Bartender My Attitude Depends On Who You Are Lips Shirt. Honestly, that makes me so happy because as a company we didn’t enforce the masks but I was able to make the decision as a manager to enforce them. As a staff, we have to wear them 9 hours a day I do not see a problem with customers spending 5-10 minutes in our store wearing them. I cannot imagine being in Texas. I already have enough anxiety. Luckily I live in a pretty liberal area where people are fine wearing the masks. The sad thing is I can spot the dudes that are going to give me trouble from 100 yards away when they’re walking outside and that I think is the problem with our country. I can literally spot the assholes from that far away before even speaking to them. It’s sad.
